DKC Firm Status during COVID-19 Pandemic

Since the City of San Francisco instituted one of the first shelter-in-place orders in the nation back in March, Devereaux, Kuhner & Co. staff have primarily operated from home. The State’s designation of CPAs as an essential business has allowed us to use our office as necessary, but most employees are working exclusively from their homes.  For those that do stop by the office, the Embarcadero Center building management has instituted a set of new procedures to keep its tenants safe and healthy.  If you are planning to drop off documents in person, please contact your DKC representative to coordinate.

What does all this mean for you, our clients? We are open, we are still able to receive tax documents and correspondence sent by mail to our office, and we have access to our voicemail. We are not currently scheduling in-person meetings but are happily scheduling meetings via Zoom or over the phone in the ordinary course. Finally, please be patient – as many of you know from your own experience, working mainly from home presents certain unique challenges.
