Devereaux, Kuhner & Co. LLP is looking for a Tax Supervisor with three to five years accounting experience to join our firm.

We are looking for someone who is able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment. Ideal applicants will have a strong knowledge of accounting principles, current CPA license, and commitment to offering clients the highest level of service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Review and preparation of individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns
-Project estimated tax liabilities on a periodic basis.
-Serve as primary client contact on engagements and identify ways to provide additional and enhanced service to clients
-Construct tax strategies and solutions to resolve complex tax issues.
-Present deliverables and solutions to partners and managers.
-Supervise, train and develop staff to further enhance tax knowledge
-Assign and delegate projects amongst staff
-Work effectively with team members
-Manage and budget time and projects efficiently
-Maintain consistent communication of project updates and status with partners and managers.
-Three to five years of tax and accounting experience
– Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university
– Maintains an active CPA license
– Experience in complex individual, corporate, partnership and trust returns
– Proficiency in foreign tax reporting and compliance is a plus
– FAS 109 experience a plus but not required
– Experience with tax and accounting software including ProSystems Fx Tax and Engagement, BNA, Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
– Communicate effectively with internal staff and clients.
This position is full time with mandatory overtime hours during our two busy seasons (February 15- April 15 and Aug 15- October 15).
