Devereaux, Kuhner & Co. LLP is looking for a Senior Accountant with two to three years accounting experience to join our firm.

We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment. Ideal applicants will have a working knowledge of accounting and tax principles, CPA licensure or progress towards obtaining CPA licensure, and be committed to offering clients the highest level of service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership and trust tax returns
-Project estimated tax liabilities on a periodic basis.
-Recognize, understand and analyze detailed and complex tax calculations.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while providing exceptional client service
-Train and develop staff to further enhance tax knowledge
-Work effectively with team members
-Manage and budget time and projects efficiently.
-Maintain consistent communication of project updates and status with partners and managers.
-Great attitude and eagerness to learn.
-Two to three years of tax and accounting experience
-Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university
-CPA license or substantial progress towards CPA licensure – CPA license preferred
-Advanced Microsoft Excel and technical skills
-Familiarity with tax preparation software such as Prosystems Tax, BNA, CCH Engagement, and Quickbooks.
-Communicate effectively with internal staff and clients.
This position is full time with mandatory overtime hours during our two busy seasons (February 15- April 15 and Aug 15- October 15).
