We work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and pressure. That’s not news, of course, especially during tax seasons.
We do our best to help bring some balance to work and life by making sure we build downtime into our busy schedules. We do that around a weekly Coffee and Pastry hour and during firm-supplied lunches on Wednesdays and Saturdays during tax season.
We also blow off the stress of tax season at team-building off-sites. Over the years we’ve gone out for cooking classes, scavenger hunts, wine tastings, and more.
We also make sure that lines of communication stay open. Partners and managers have an open door policy to help smooth the work day.
